project "road trip"

My 68 ext cab aquired from fine69 the start of my first build. the hope is when finished to take a month long road tour through the us and canada.i have already lengthened the frame for a regular sb (wasn't a fan of the toyota style that was originally on the truck) and stripped most of the interior

Very cool! I'm with you, those beds sucked and probably killed most of the custom orders for that extended cab.

thanks guys, im hoping to keep the cab as "original" as i can not much a few updates for comfort for the long haul and for the drive line im hopin for a 350 and a NV3500 5 speed

The longer bed is a nice addition really adds to the truck unlike the cut down bed version..

Sat for too many years at my place. The longer bed looks much better on it.
