S10 rear end?
Anyone using a S10 rear end in their C10? My 1966 C10, with sbc 305 and TH350, running stock 3.73 rear end currently. I bought a fullsize rear end out of an '80's C10 with 2.73 gears to put in my truck, but someone stole it from my backyard. Bad part of having no garage and backyard being on an alley. So I'm sure it got scraped. Can't find much on craigslist except plenty of S10 rear ends. I found one with 3.08 gears and they are asking $150. Seems like a good deal. If it will hold up in my truck. I know it is narrower then my stock one, but I'm running air bags. Narrower should let me run a little wider wheel/tire and not have any rubbing issues. Looking for more info, before I invest again.

Re: S10 rear end?
Yes, I am installing one in my 64 as we speak. I am running a 29 x 15.5 x 15 M/T Sportsman on 15x12 rims. The only issue i have been faced with is i cannot seem to find the 64 style angled saddles that fit a 2.5" axle tube. All the ones i have found are straight and for a 3" axle tube. I just went ahead and made my own.

Re: S10 rear end?
Well I picked up the S-10 rear end. It has the RPO code, GU6 on it. I wanted a GU4, but just could not find one. Plus I got a great deal on this one. Out of a 2000 model truck. Next to get busy and mount it up. Will update as I get things done.
