Post tell me what yall think

well let me start from the beginning,
i had my carb (1406) adjusted great, a little rich at idle but ran great. at one time, when i first installed the cam (XE262 k kit) i had a very little bit of spark knock at mid-throttle, so i went to a heavier step up spring for the metering rods (from no.4 to no.5) that cured the problem, ran great. now i am pretty sure about what i am going to do but i would like a second opinion.

my problem now sence i put the MSD module and the MSD super conductor wires,is now i have spark knock at wide open throttle, BTW i have the HYPERTECH POWER COIL. i already retarded my timing from 10 degrees to 8 degrees. the vacuum advance is hooked to manifold vacuum, but at wide open throttle, the vacuum advance has no role in the timing. i also have the heaviest spring for the advance weights in the distributor. what i am planning on doing is to go another stage richer on the jets for the secondaries. stock calibration for this carb is pri-.98/sec-.95 and no.4 step up spring. as i have already said i already went to the no.5 step up spring and have already went to .98 jets in the secondaries. i am thinking i need to go to the .101 jets in the secondaries to cure the wide open throttle spark knock. i am pretty sure this is what i need to do but if anyone else has anything else to add please tell me if i am missing anything.

BTW,judging by the the pull this thing has now, if i put the bigger jets in it and it corrects my problem this thing is going to have a neck snapping second gear that wont quit. thanx in advance for any help/opinions yall can give
