tanny probs

ok i just got a 98 sonoma ext cab stepside with an auto tranny with the 4.3 vortec v6 when in OD it will shift into second farely hard not that hard but hard now is this normal? if not what could be wrong

come on im sure someone knows about this i really need to know if im gonna start having problems or if its gonna be fine otherwise ill take it back to the dealership

My 94 1500 chevy kinda does the same thing. It has 174k and the trans was done at 130k. It has a v6 and runs great. I haven't had any problems and I've had it for 2 years.
