Difficulty making a 1977 gmc 4wd that's 2wd?
Found the truck want only thing is that it's 2wd. How hard and expensive is it to convert to 4wd?

That just depends on how expensive the donor truck is. You can do it piece mill, but thats going to be expensive in the end. Your better off buying a cheap donor truck, get what you need and sell the rest.

Gotta do something about front and rear hangers, If you wanna go the easy route find a 4x4 frame or maybe parts truck.
Second thing you need either a 2" body lift (i hate body lifts) or swap in the high hump from the before-mentioned parts truck and your good to go. Remember, 73-80 and 81-87 frames are different.
