69?? chevelle headers for side pipes fit 70 truck?

A friend gave me a new set of headers He said "I think these headers are for a 69 chevelle" I said sure I'll take them (not one to pass on free stuff) I relized when I recieved them that they turn outward on the ends, I'm assuming for, side pipes. I guess my question is, would they clear my frame rail without having to actually take my headers off to check? I just assumed they would'nt and am going to try to sell them.
