New guy from Nebraska

I've been browsing the site for a week or two and found so much info. I'm new to the forum but not forums in general.

I'm Josh and from central Nebraska. I recently purchased a 63 C-10 fleetside shortbox. Never really owned a full size truck or anythings of its age so its new to me. I plan to drop a LB9 TPI with TH-700r4 and have it for a daily driver. Needs a lot of body work but I'd like to get some experience with that anyway.

I also own a 1988 Camaro IROC-z and 2003 Cadillac CTS. I'm 22 years old and have a Associates in Diesel Tech. I'm employed as a John Deere Technician.

I purchased the truck last saturday for $300. Looking forward to working on it know this site will have alot of good info.

Photos were taken via phone
We were hit by a snow storm and some nasty windchill so havn't done anything but clean out some trash the day I brought it home.

Welcome to the forum! It was -21 with a -43 windchill here in Cheyenne Wednesday morning so I can certainly relate. I haven't even taken the junk out of the back of my Suburban project yet. I'm a newbie also. Great info and people here!

Re: New guy from Nebraska

Starting to warm up a bit, 40* today. After work lifted up donor car to pull engine/trans. Suppose to be 45-50 this weekend. Pull the drivetrain and put on stand to freshen up a bit. Here's a taste of the engine. Shouldn't be as loud with Flowmaster super 40's. Has 3in SLP with resonator no cat on car. Fired it one last time in car today.
