Help me find the right frame.
I just bought a 2002 swb 1500 reg. cab chevy.
the drivers side frame is bent and I want to weld in a new section (actually have a shop do it ). I am hoping you guys can help me on what frames will work, as the wrecking yard doesnt know and they dont have my exact truck there. They have a 2wd GMC Yukon so i was wondering if I can use that. thanks for any help. |

Re: Help me find the right frame.
I would have the frame repaired before trying to patch in donor parts. A good frame shop should be able to handle this. Every cut in the frame is a new weak spot and another point to be realigned.
