I'm putting my cab baack together after body work and painting the inside. I'm changing it over to AC, my dad was telling me that the vents are different with AC. They work off some kind AC control. Any body know where I can get some info and this?

Just the pass. side is different. Find a donor cab and get the vacumn operated vent. Did you put the flap in the cowl also? It's not hard to do if you have a donor.

I just posted about the same question yesterday. the way it was explained to me is that the passenger side vent is only open when you slide the A/C switch into the inside air position. It also has a flap under the cowl that closes the vent from the outside.

There is alot more to an A/C cab then just that vent. There is also a venting system underneath the cowl.
