My 1972 CST

Hello all,

New to the forum so I thought I'd post up some pictures of my 1972 CST.

Whatcha all think?

I took the Edelbrock off last Friday night and replaced it with a new Holley.

4" Spring Lift with 33's. 35's fit but I think they were too much tire.

I just bought a Kenwood deck, (4) 6x9 Fosgate, one center dash speaker and a Fosgate Amp. Gonna be busy tonight.

Re: My 1972 CST

I mounted my head unit in the console so it is somewhat hidden from thieves. This isn't mine, but mine is very similar.

That looks pretty good. Is there any problems playing disks with the deck vertical?

I have a 6 disc changer mounted right behind the head unit. I've played single CDs in the head unit and they only skip on really bouncy roads. I've never had the CD Changer skip. If I were to do it again, I'd skip the CD Changer and put in an iPod connection.

Welcome and congrats! Very nice stance... love the wheel and tire combo. I have heard those are very street friendly mud tires. Whats your opinion so far?

I had them on a 1/2 ton Chev and I have them on a 2500 Duramax right now. I really like the tire, very low road noise, and they last well.

It's just a universal under dash kit. Crutchfield has them but I think I paid around $8 for mine.
