Re: Puttin 97 parts on a 94???
Specs
1994–1995 2.2 L 2200 I4, MPFI 118 hp (88 kW) 138 lb·ft (187 N·m) 4 1996–1997 2.2 L Vortec 2200 I4, SFI 118 hp (88 kW) 138 lb·ft (187 N·m) 4 The engines have different fuel injections systems. A few sensors may be different. Hard parts should be the same. I'm no expert on 2.2s. You may want to search http://www.s10forum.com/forum/2-2l-2nd-gen-4-banging/ |

Re: Puttin 97 parts on a 94???
transmissions are different. 94-95 uses the t5, 96+ use the nv1500. the steering columns are different too. engines interchange as long as you change the different sensors. the biggest difference is the wiring and pcm, being 94-95 is obd1 and 96+ is obd2
the body/frame is identical |
