Changing Trannys

Well i hope someone can help me. i'm going to remove 4 speed trans and replace with a 200r. i know the factory auto trans has a lower hump where can i get one. i have a 65 swb any help would be great my dog has a kink in his neck so he needs a lower hump.

You're going to have to find a used one. I believe you will also have to change the part to the front of the removeable trans cover. It is spot welded to the firewall. This piece is different for the short and tall trans covers.

You could take a look in the classifieds here on the forum. You might find someone parting out a truck or just a cab. Usually guys are going the other way, short to tall, so someone could have leftover parts from their conversion. However to be able to post a WTB, you must be a supporting member.
