Want a rendering for my bagged 64 c10

Who does renderings here? I want one and would pay for a professional type if I could get one. I need more motivation in my build. I also want to set on my dash at local car shows. Under construction as of now. Any info will be greatly appreciated guys..... Thanks!!!!!

Joel is great, his renderings are large and look top notch framed, his prices are great and he can even have them framed for you, sends a pre sketch and is open to changes. These he did for me. Oh yea, he's pretty fast too! http://1320designs.com/blog1/

The ones of your truck are the best I've seen. Seriously solid work, I might have some done of mine after seeing yours.

This is exactly what I need. Im one of those few guys who read the instructions. So it would be great to have a guide of my very own for what I want to do.

Joseph Durant (jdurant) uses a different media format, but the end result is awesome. He starts with a real photo of your truck, or one like your if necessary. From there he transforms it in to a rendering to fit your needs.

Re: Want a rendering for my bagged 64 c10

Heres what I sent to your email....
As for pricing... Every artist or firm charges different rates. Ive charged anywhere from $200 all the way up to $800(for freelance) however at work when we do it for the race teams we charge a minimum of $1500.... depends on what you want and the level of reference material you supply. If you have good photos to work from then you make the artist's life ALOT easier and I think the price reflects that.

Re: Want a rendering for my bagged 64 c10

Joel at 1320 designs can give you a couple of options. He can do a computer rendering which takes a bunch of time or the hand drawn version you see on Hicups and mine.

BTW...Joel actually painted the my truck as well. Way cool guy and is resonablly priced. Here is a crappy cell phone pic of mine.

Re: Want a rendering for my bagged 64 c10

Hey. I was pointed to this thread by a fellow board member. Just wanted to post some recent works. Here are some trucks that I had handy.

This is what I am currently working on. A patina'd 83 for board member Stitch. I did his logo too. Gonna add a few more views, including a pretty custom interior. While I had it broken down that way, formatted this single view to use for a signature.

There are some more I wish I could post, but I get sworn to secrecy sometimes. I would love to add some 60-66s to my portfolio.
My prices are typically $150 for a single view, and $100 for additional views. Like anything else, if there is something super wild and custom--well, the more time spent the more I have to charge. From comparing, my prices are fairly typical, if you could say such a thing. I like to think slightly on the low end of the spectrum. And for the record, I could do it by hand in a few different media, (heck, I could cast a bronze if somebody wanted to pay for it) but I'm kinda proud of my more traditional stuff, and truthfully haven't done much cars of any sort. Honestly, I've always tried to keep the two seperate. I'm getting off topic, but notice the the name is gold too, ...right now.
But, whatever route you decide, I think renderings are a great couple hundred bucks spent. They can really help with some tough decisions, and prevent expensive mistakes in some cases.
Oh, and guys who recommended me...much appreciated.
