new ride lowering

looks like i will be getting a djm 3 / 4 lowering kit consisting of spindles, springs and shackles to put down an 85 gmc on some 17" wheels of some sort. what else do i need for the lowering? shocks perhaps?

If you have tha coin do ball joints & control arm bushings while u in there

Check your tie rod ends, pitman arm, idler arm, etc for wear.
