All drums
Hey all.... just was wondering..... there seems to be a somewhat proud and elite group that are running all drums.... It seems obvious to me that disc are better... so why stick with drums?
I don't mind them myself... but I'm putting in a big block.... and am giong to be doing some towing..... so an upgrade might be in order..... Is it as simple as swapping the spindles? What truck years can I take from? (I heard up to 80's..... ) Anyone think I should stick with drums? ~S |

I have drums all the way around. I have no problem stopping when pulling a heavy boat. At some point I will get disks but I'm in no hurry. Remember that 3/4 ton drums are a lot better than the 1/2 drums so if your reading this and scratching your head why anyone would want drums then please remember that you are comparing apples and oranges.
