Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
Just wondering.... Lets say you 60-66 truck is finished and you decide to move on to another project. What would it be?
Just to show how sick and twisted I am and that it doesn't have to be another truck...... A street version of this would be my choice, except all black with a BBC and a 4-speed. |

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
My wife has already allotted my time, when I am done with my daughter and my trucks. She wants a 68-69 Camaro or Firebird. Talk about aiming high!!
Somewhere in there, I need to build some kind of Mopar for my son, and a Pink VW Bug for the youngest. I don't know where I went wrong with those two. LOL |

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
I have a 94 mustang that I'm currently going to get back on the road. But when I'm done with my truck, I will turn that car into a true build.

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
markeb01, apparently we have some similar tastes... I would love to build a "mild" 37 gasser. But a decent 37 chev coupe price seems to be in the moronosphere these days. My 2nd goal, rising rapidly to #1, is to do a 54 chev sedan. Not restored, but a nice street machine - slightly lowered, steelies and poverty caps, basic paint, with an LS engine and 700R4. But, will probablyu be focusing the efforts on the 66 truck for quite a few years!

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
when my '66 driver is done, i want to build my dad's old '66 chop top...got some good ideas for it, but not 100% sure how it will turn out...aside from that, it depends on whether my grandpa gets to finish his '50 Ford...if not, I will make it a future project...pics of cab & Ford:
![]() ![]() ![]() my grandpa just finished this one last year...will be passed on to my wife someday...wonder if she'd let me throw in a blown smallblock? ![]() ![]() |

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
That V dub is glorious!
If my 68 charger doesn't rot away on me while I'm practicing on my trucks, then it's next. Then after that I'd like to do a nose high street freak style job on my 66 rambler wagon(that's still sitting up in Flagstaff waiting to be dragged home.) I'd also love to try to build a Tall T or track T If I ever get the time or win the lotto.

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
My next project will be my son's small block powered s-10 blazer. I already tinker with it when I am at a stand still on my 64. Did a 4" static drop and am about to pull the interior out so my brother can re-skin it all to the boy's liking.

A big ugly 55 Pontiac 4 door
![]() I really wanted something to drive this upcoming year, and my truck will not be done for quite a while ![]() The body is solid, just need to throw in a small block to make the thing run decent.

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
Well, since I don't have a 60-66 I want one of those. Then,a late-30s GM pickup and after that a '55 GM pickup. I also want an Advance Design and a 20s-30s hot rod GM pickup. All the above would be nice in one stock and one custom. If I ever get a car it will be a 66/67 Nova for my girlfriend. I'm out of time so just my short list will have to do.

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
I have my choice. My other 66 Chevy Long Fleet or my 65 Mustang. the Stang pretty much just needs paint and stuff like that. The body work is done.

Re: Hey 60-66 gang, what would your next build be?
There are lots of old stuff that I like; Chevelles, El Caminos, and Blazers...but lately something new I've been looking at are the custom Avalanche builds. Not this radical, but I think they are cool anyway..
