Does Anyone have a Factory Installed " Tilt " wheel on a 1968 ?

We all see the tilt colums for sale for 67 thru 72 trucks, but almost everyone states they were not available until 1969. Does anyone have a 1968 with tilt that is documented on the spid or factory order. Thanks Randy

Nope never happened. Tilts were introduced to trucks in late 69.

As far as any 67-68's with factory tilt on the spid, I've never seen any.

However, you can install a 70-72 tilt column using the intermediate shaft from the 67-68.

I agree, not going to see it on a real label until 69.

Look at a '68 owners manual...no mention of tilt wheel operation. Look in a '69 manual...there it is. No chance in '68 since it was later in '69. See,the entire column is different in '68 from '69...tilt or standard. So,no tilt upper columns were made by GM until after they redesigned the column.
