8ft bed-how much does it weight?
How much does a 8ft bed weight? Can two people removed it from a truck and place on a trailer? Also, does all of the 8ft beds fit each other 67-72?

I'd want at least 4 people.

Re: 8ft bed-how much does it weight?
We have removed the bed with a cherry picker, lift it up and pull the truck out.
Also we have done it with 4 people, it is easiest if you can remove the rear wheel/tires.

Re: 8ft bed-how much does it weight?
Me and my brother-in-law did it by ourselves. Was a lot of huffin and puffin but we did it without any damage to us or the bed. My suggestion the more help you have the more fun it is.

Re: 8ft bed-how much does it weight?
I would guess 300-400 lbs. I have done it with myself and a buddy, but I would not suggest it. 4 people, an engine hoist, a chain hoist, a strong branch a pulley and a rope would all be better than lifting it with two people.
If you have enough money to buy a case of beer, you can typically find three people willing to drink that beer for 5 minutes of work.
