Bedsides or new bed? That is the question

I have the usual rust issues over the rear wheels. They have been patched once before, so I'm not sure how advisable it would be to do it again.

I have located a couple of rust-free bedsides as well as a rust-free bed. I can get both bedsides for about half what the bed would cost, so my question is this: Is the hassle factor of swapping the bed sides enough to offset just coughing up the extra bucks and swapping the whole bed?

How is your floor and headgate? Are we talking $100 AND $200, $300 &$600,$500 & $1000.

The complete bed would be alot easier if the cost is not too bad. I have taken several beds apart and it is not something I enjoy doing.

The floor, front and wheel wells are fine. I can get the bedsides for $300. Not sure on the bed, but guessing $500 to $600.
