1st post newbie 65 c10

decided to start on my 65 c10. got it from my grandpa, been sitting for 15-20yrs. 230 6cyl, 3 on tree. engine is froze, i pulled the head off and it had lots of rust in the cylinders, and in the water passages. i put some oil in the cylinders to see if it will loosen up , but ill probaly have to pull the motor and head to the machine shop.

Welcome to the forum

That's cool that your Grandpa gave it to you. Did he buy it new?

Welcome and great project. It looks alot like my truck when I first got mine some 20+ years ago, the only difference is yours has a great story along with it and you have a family bond with yours. Where you at in the great Republic of Texas?
