any women gearheads?

hi.i was just wondering if there was any other women on this board whos into old trucks(or cars).this has been a passion of mine since i could remember.dont know how, since my parents could of cared less what they drove.
it makes for a happy home and life when we can all go to the garage together and mess with something.my husband has a 1968 AMC AMX, he and my son built a 1967 c10 swb. i had a 1952 3100 wich i sold. my baby is a 1990 4x4 350 5speed rcsb. I installed factory buckets and console and fixed it up quite a bit.
my son and i took our camaros to the camaro nationals. he has a 1993 z28 and i had a 2010 wich I just traded for a new silverado. that was a great memory to last a lifetime.
my husband likes that im into these things.makes it easier for him to convince me when he wants to do something with them, actually i have to convince him when i wanna drag something else home
have fun and take a look at my photo album in my profile.

lol, thanks for the heads up Nigel. Im here! Been here for over 10 years, had my truck for almost 12 years. My husband loves that Im a truck nut (and motorcycle nut) but hes not really into the mechanics of it. I love to work on my own truck (with the help of my many truck buddies here) Theres several of us girls that are pretty active here. Have fun!

Re: any women gearheads?

My daughter-in-law is not on here, but she helps my son restore the 67-72 trucks they have.

I am not sure how many they have restored, but at least 3.

Re: any women gearheads?

68gmsee I know they do for sure. She has a fraternal twin and is exact opposite brunette, brown eyes, into the princesses and all that. LOL We have four girls, we lost Sarah when she was almost three months old. I try to do all I can with them because you cant take anything for granted.
