How do I take off the Light switch knob to get off my dash?

If i remember right there is a small button and spring on the side and you'll have to push the headlight switch in and hold the button and when you pull it the knob will come out.

I have also found it is easier to pull the switch all the way on, thewn push the button in and pull out.
also if you are removing the inst. cluster, pull all the stuff on the bottom, or it wont come out. choke cable: pull out a little, and get a cresent wrench, on the shaft, and unscrew the knob. wiper the knob just pulls off. ign should unscrew lighter : housing around it should unscrew from under the dash.
