I took my truck to the mechanic today because it was backfiring and popping while accelerating\decelerating\bogging down.. And taking taking a little long to start!
He said something about he would rebuild my distributor, Tune my carb, Fix my timing, and check for some vacuum leaks. I already replaced my cap and rotor, So id this included in the "distributor rebuild"? He wants $150 To do this... And he wants an extra $100 to put my headers on, is this a fair price or could I find cheaper? My truck is a @ wheel drive SWB Chevy With a 350 motor and 350 Trans.
