factory question?
was the white/red/white/red a factory color combination, can you guys post some pics please. and also is it very hard to paint that 2 tone scheme??

yeh thats a factory color combo, and as far as painting it goes it isn't hard but some painters will whine mine did, He kept trying to talk me into one color, for obvious reasons

I don't think it was factory offered until '71/'72. Before that, it would have been white/red/white under bottom trim.

That is not always the case...here is an all original 69 Longhorn. Notice the paint scheme. I ahve seena few like this, but it just wasn't as common as it was in the 71/72 trucks.

No, jus the ones with Longhorns.
I think your truck is the only short bed on the longhorn site. (not counting the 50th annv page) And that is only becouse you sneaked it into some of your shots! |
