72 Blazer tailgate

I am trying to find the measurement between rear quarter panels where the tailgate closes. If someone has an unmolested blazer rear body section, please measure and let me know. Thanks Pat

65 1/8" across from just forward from the tailgate at the narrowest part of the inner boxside. About 2" forward from where the tailgate is when closed the contour swoops outwards and the inside to inside opening gets larger. But I didnt measure that one.

Truck is a 71 Jimmy, soft top is on but the tailgate was closed and had pretty much a 3/16" gap even on both sides, and its never been hit hard in the rear corners.
