Question TRANSMISSION - LONG OR SHORT TAIL?

I have a 85 Chevy swb, fleetside with a 4.3 V-6 in it. I am looking at replacing it with a mild 350 w/ a turbo 400 transmission. Question is, if I use a 350 or a 400 turbo which tail shaft transmission do I get, long or short? HELP!!!!!

WOLFMAN,

The answer depends on the tranny you have now. If it's a 700R4 then get the long 350th tailshaft. I'm not sure about the 400TH. If you have a manual tranmissions you may need matching driveshaft for either transmission. I'm sure someone else will able to answer your question on the 400th.
