Converting from a 3 hole Cluster to...

I searched the FAQ and couldnt find it. What do you have to change to install a cluster with gaiges in place of the 3 hole version? I know I read it on here somewhere and didn't book mark it...

Heres a link from GMC Pauls Web Site. Scroll down a bit on the page and you will see the wiring difference between the two.

I'm thinking of trying this as well. This page may help:

http://www.gmcpaulstruckparts.com/Tech%20Tips1.htm

I found it in the FAQ index thread:

Wiring, for sure. There is a different harness for the guage package, vs the standard guages w/idiot lights.

Kevin...I have the old harness from the '69, if you think it'll help. It has the guages that you want to wire up and have working. If you like, I can take it to your wife or leave it at your house.
