Has anyone tried to reduce the noise...

...in the cavernous area at the back of the cab. I would stuff butyl vibration dampening material but the adhesive back that would be needed to keep the stuff up in there won't allow me to stuff it up there. I could spray a foam insulation in there but I fear a moisture build up. I don’t what is best and wonder if anyone here has figured it out and got it done. I have used Second Skin dampening all over the cab, doors and bedliner under the cab but that one area can sure create a tin can sound.

I cut out areas of my inner rear panel so I could get into that area. I then make
a upholstered wood/fiberglass fiberglass panel to cover the rear panel & headliner.

The curver areas at the top corners are stiff & will not vibrate so that are does not need it

This is more work than most would be willing to do, but My cab is almost as quiet as
my RR.

Some butyl self sticking material like dynamat, but cheaper.

Man, i really like your interior of truck !The idea of using plywood to cover all that back panel and headliner is awesome !Can you post more pics of the headliner?
