body & frame separation Q

Do you all have any pics of what you did/what you used to get the body off your alternate tinkering's frame? The reason I ask is because my dad has a 49' Chevy Deluxe 4dr, and as you probably guessed he's taking the body off the frame. So any tips and/or advice on some how to would be greatly appreciated.

Re: body & frame separation Q

I have a lift but heres some pics of me doing my chevelle....without a lift typically guys get a bunch of friends, lift the body up (take all the doors and stuff off they're not that heavy) push the rolling chassis out of the way and drop the body down on four saw horses.....then build a "body cart" out of wood with casters or set it on tire dolleys so you can move it around......dig around build threads for ideas
