I love my son....

At his urging, we rescued my '69 from body hell. Took the cab/chassis to his garage. Gutted the cab three weeks ago, which mainly consisted of pulling and gutting the doors. Last Sunday afternoon, we removed the master cylinder and booster, then we got a couple of neighbors and we removed the cab and I brought it to my house (before it goes to another needy person). Then, Friday he started removing the rust from the chassis, using a wire brush. Here's us, taking a break so my bride could snap a pic.

It's really nice for me, having my son to do this labor. Strokes suck.

Re: I love my son....

my dad spent 20+ years serving our country in the Army, we have grown our father/son relationship in the garage, we even built our trucks side by side in the same garage one winter
