I have purchased several repop brands. LMC were the poorest. They are beer can thickness and bend by pushing the clips in. The clips are not made with even close the quality as Aveeco clips. Mark K are the best aftermarket. I bought 2 near complete NOS sets for a SWB pickup both upper and lower. The 2 sets were missing fender spears , We used Mark K for them. You can hardly see a difference. The cost was reasonable. You should spend a bit more and be happy with the better quality.

I actually talked to a guy who's been restoring these trucks for 30+yrs and will use LMC...if he calls in the order and specifies which maker of trim he will get. He said he got a few bad sets in and returned them and found they source from two mfr's. One was nice and he would compare it to original and the other was horrible. I am going to see if I can get the brand info from him and will post it here.

Also trying to figure out who Classic industries uses since they are running 20% off and with the amount of other parts I need to order I can get free shipping from them.....

I'm interested in what you find out as well. I also need a good repop woodgrain tailgate band. I want one with metal chromed letters instead of plastic painted if possible. I have some nos lower woodgrain. I don't have a complete set. I think I have the front of the fenders, the rear of the box, and the left front box. I believe they are all in the original packaging, with clips. I will check on what I have. If you can't find a complete set, and need to piece one together, maybe my stuff will help you out.
