wired 1966 gmc 3/4 pickup

I was on this website called 6066gmcguy and i tried this mod to the front parking lights so the front parking lights stay on when you turn on your head lights it worked but the turn signals do not work when the head lights are on just the parking lights stay lit. the turn signals do work when the head lights are in the off posision. has anyone tried this and how did it work out?
