Re: Will these wider wheels fit my rims?

According to my source at the local BF GOODRICH warehouse, an 8" rim is the narrowest rim you can fit those 295/50R15 TIRES onto.

Oh BTW a "WHEEL" and a "RIM" are the same thing. I believe that you meant to say Will these wider TIRES fit my rims? and not "Will these wider wheels fit my rims?"in your topic title.

Hope this helps!!! Have fun and good luck!!

Actually "rims" have spokes, like on a motorcycle....I really hate to hear people refer to "wheels" as rims.

just don't be doing doughnuts with it.... The bead is under more stress on a narrow wheel, which makes it more prone to popping off the wheel...

They will fit but they look best on a 10" wide wheel.

Cough, actually, the "Rim" of a Wheel, is the outer "hoop", the piece the tire mounts onto, and that the spokes connect to. All wheels have a "rim" whether they are 100 spoke daytons, motorcycle wheels, or even a 20" custom wheel.

I do agree, I hate hearing people refer to wheels as rimz yo.

I run 295/50's on 8" wheels in the rear... Also, here is a pic of a local truck (silver) that runs 8" rally's with 295's in the rear...

Re: Will these wider wheels fit my rims?

Re: Will these wider wheels fit my rims?

did the same thing you just did and with the same tire the center of the tire will wear out faster even if you keep them properly inflated to narrow 10 inch wheels work better
