When bridged, check that the amp is stable for the ohm speaker you have. 4 ohm stable bridged should not have a 2 ohm speaker connected. Also, when looking at wattage ratings, look for rms ratings. This would be continuous output not peak. Some may say 500W but it is peak not rms. Make sure you are comparing the same ratings. Hope this helps.

Please oh please, dont buy from walmart!!!!!!!! Especially car audio, support your local shops, heck even the e-tailers of car audio are better than them.

What are you putting the amp on? (speakers? subwoofers? and what make and model are they?)
What is your budget?

Wal Mart doesn't make them....

It's actually not the same equipment. Give you a good example, Pioneer headunits have to pass 7/10 QC checks to be sold in audio shops. If the HU does not pass the 7/10 check it is then sent to places like wally world to be sole there. There for you really are buying a inferior product. And no, walmarx is not a "local" company in my view, They do more harm than they do good.

Sounds like Pioneer needs to step it up a notch if they only have to pass 7/10 QC checks...and still even sell lower...

7/10 by pioneer is quite good actually, Pioneer very much makes a quality product so dont doubt there quality at all.... unless of course it's from walmarx.

talk is just that...it's just talk and explains why you wouldn't want someone buying from Wal-Mart. Give me some facts or a link to something that proves what you're saying is more than just a rumor to hurt the competition.
I actually find it hard to believe it's even legal to sell inferioror product that doesn't pass QC without re-naming it or advertising and notifying the consumer that is what your buying.

walmart buys "B" stock. units that failed the spec test or didn't work when tested and where "referb'd"
difference is most other retailers put this stuff on the outlet/closeout,etc area,
wallyworld sell it like it's "a" stock.
