Re: can anyone save it

That's just horrible sending that to the scraper. Almost brings a tear to my eye. Gotta be some other Texan boy with land to store that on lol

Re: can anyone save it

you can really tell it tears him up to junk it because he isnt asking MORE than the scrappers or anything....
If that jerk cared about our cars than he would only be matching the scrap yards price, or even going below....
i hate dishonest people...
or maybe i just like old cars too much....

Re: can anyone save it

I'm surprised that the scrap yard actually offered him that much since that's about double average scrap price. His asking price seems reasonable to me though.

I'd buy it if I were close.

Re: can anyone save it

Ad says SALVAGE not SCRAP yard. I hope he meant the difference. It'll get parted out, not crushed.

Re: can anyone save it

It would be difficult to recoup $600 from parting that out. While not impossible I would not think it would be worth the effort and the time to do so.

Some of the parts might sell quickly IF they are in good condition. Other parts may take years to find a buyer.

Maybe at $300 it would be profitable.
