Can ya'll tell me what I'm doing wrong on my linelock install?
I bought the summit line lock setup and installation kit. For some reason, I can't get the solenoid to stop leaking at the threads. I've fubar'd two sets of lines/fitting trying to get it to stop leaking. I used teflon paste the first time, then teflon tape the second time. I'm using the correct flarenut wrench to tight them. The problem is, the line/flare is really loose and when I tighten them until they are snug, the threads get stripped on the fitting...and it still leaks. The instructions suck and the help line is always busy. What am I doing wrong? I will post pics if needed.
Parts: SummitRacing Linelock solenoid SummitRacing Linelock installation kit The 3/16" flare line/fittings don't seem to fit the solenoid

I believe they are 1/8" fittings. I have one too but haven't installed it yet.

Haha...got it. The install kit had the correct fitting, but they just didn't fit very well and I discarded them. I finally got through to the summit help line and they advised that I try again. Sure enough I got them to fit with a little more force.

Good to hear. I see you're running 11's with your square body. What 6.0 do you have?
How small of cam.....is a "small" cam?

Glad you got it figured out. I used the B&M kit on mine and wired it so that my horn button activates it, .

It's an LQ4 with a 228ish cam.
That's cool...the horn thing. I'm planning to use my hi-beams switch on the floor.

Re: Can ya'll tell me what I'm doing wrong on my linelock install?
The only problem I see in that setup is HUGE!!! You need to out a couple coils in your brake lines to help with cracking. The body and frame are separate units, therefore when they flex the lines are the weak link. Just a heads up!

I understand what your saying, however there is room for "flex" that the pictures don't show.
