Load-In Camper
I did some searching already, but did not come up with what I am looking for... Has anyone put a "modern" load in capmer in their 67-72' S/B? I am looking at options to get for my truck and havent decided if I want to go toyhauler trailer or load in camper and separate trailer. Any input? Pics?

Re: Load-In Camper
I would go small toyhauler. With a new slide in pickup camper, you will be spending quite a bit and also have to buy the attachments for your truck and put them on every time you go camping. You will also have to store it on barrels, pallets or saw horses if it does not have a really good set of jacks. Not to mention buying a good little pull trailer for your ATV or bike. With the pull trailer you can drop it and be done with it, not like a slide-in, gets to be a pain. Room in the toyhauler would be greater too. That is just my .02.

Re: Load-In Camper
I appreciate, those are good points to consider, maybe I will just get a regular small travel trailer and throw the dirt bike in the bed of the truck or on the rear of the trailer. Thanks for the input!

Re: Load-In Camper
Heck yeah, you can find a very nice vintage pull trailer around CO, WY or MT for less than 2K easy. Load up your bike in the truck bed and enjoy the extra room in the camper

Re: Load-In Camper
Yea I think that may be the way to go for my budget/tow rig/situation. I like the idea of keeping the dirty/smelly toy(s) out of my living area. If I could afford (or pull) a trailer with the separate garage it might be ok as one unit...

Re: Load-In Camper
Finding one with a separate garage is gonna be spendy, plus, our rigs hauling vintage campers look awesome and nostalgic! All you need then are some Smokey the Bear and Woodsy Owl interior signs and bumper stickers
