Rear coilspring rate??
I am currently putting together a rear 4-link on my 53 Chevy truck. I am getting the rear coilovers ordered soon and wanted to know what everyone is running for spring rate? Truck has MII front end with a 350 chevy, nothing serious for horsepower, just going to be a cruiser.

Re: Rear coilspring rate??
Most of the info I've been able to dig up suggests that 250# is about right for a cruiser, but the actual rate will vary of course depending on the mounting angle. Hopefully someone with real experience will chime in...
Here's a link to some info on choosing coilovers http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...uspension.html oh yeah and hey! welcome to the forum, got any pics of that 53?
