so here is a link to my project I am working on. It was given to me by a friend of a friend who wanted it out of his yard. I even got it towed home for free lol. It is an 84 scottsdale and as you can see it is a real pile of crap but I have always wanted a square shortbed. My initial plans were to tear it down to bare frame and build a rolling chassis then find a donor truck for cab, engine, trans, rear end and anything else I needed. I have bought a bed from texas and have to clean doors off a 91 suburban. I have been collecting parts as money allows. suspension is ready to go back together finally! I will add more pics as I go. So far you all have been a great help and I hope I can be of assistance too. This is the first time completely stripping a vehicle and putting it back together. I hope to have it done and run in the 2012 power tour...or at least that is the goal!
