has anybody ever done this
has anybody ever taken a spare tire wheel tub out of a suburban and put it in a truck bed so that your spare would not stand up so high along the side of the bed because of a blazer tank under the bed.

yeah that is correct, just a thought that came up while the wheels in my head slowly turn and yes AC/DC does rock they are my favorite band
oh and for the water collecting down there just drill a hole in the bottom of it for use as a drain.

A member some time ago, had taken a wheel well, flipped it upside down, welded it into the bed floor, and I guess you can figure out the rest.

I know the 'Burbs had a wheel well like that.I would like to find one to use in my panel.I think it would be ok to run without the drain.I hope it helps cut down the noise of the spare rattling.

as much as i drive i always carry a spare tire and gas can and a toolbox because you never know what can happen, and i would much rather be able to get the truck somewhere safe instead of leaving somewhere on the interstate or something like that.
