My REAREND IS TOOOOO WIDE
I'm sure this has been brought up before but I'll bring it up again.I have a 5 lug 12 bolt rearend (half ton) that I would like the narrow 1 1/2 inches on each side. No problem there. My question is can the axles be shortened and still have enough spline for them to work? Also the c clips. Can the axle be re-notched fr the clips? Thanks.

Re: My REAREND IS TOOOOO WIDE
I have the same problem(too much beer & pizza) At any rate, I am not sure about the stock axles, but Moser can set you up with the proper lenght C clip axles that you need. The set in my 12 bolt were $260 with studs, & you cant buy much machine shop time for that crazyL

Re: My REAREND IS TOOOOO WIDE
I called them today. They said 341.00 shipped to my door. Pretty cheap.
