Re: Need to buy a good steering box

Checks the parts boards. The steering box is the same from 68 to 76 or maybe later.

But before you do -- and I know this sounds silly -- how are your shocks?

When I bought my truck a few months ago it was all over the road. I tightened the adjustment on the steering box, which helped a little, but you still had to work to keep it between the lines.

Then a couple of weeks ago, I replaced the shocks and you would not believe the difference. Now it drives like a dream. No more wandering from side to side.
