would like to see some non-notched trucks.
i love the look of the truck layin frame. but on my 59 SWB i don't want to mess up the bed. call me old school, but i would like to see some that are layed down an out with out notching the frame and redoing the bed floor. i guess i'd just like to get a visual on what mine might look like. as i have no desire to cut up my floor. thanks!

I don't have a wild notch, so I'm simply raising my entire bed floor 3 inches.

then again, on these trucks, you can lay running boards, without laying frame... so if you do a mini-notch, a slight body drop, and raise the bed floor, it may look like almost nothings changed, but you can lay running boards... |

Re: would like to see some non-notched trucks.
yeah, ive done a bunch of measuring on the truck and frame in the driveway. and transfered those numbers to the virgin 59 frame in the garage that will be the one that is going in. (REALLY, REALLY bad camaro clip done from P.O. so i got a fresh frame to start with.) and the truck outside is just a little tall for my taste. would like to see what it might look like with it down an inch or so. thanks guys.

My 59 isn't very low, but you can see what it looks like riding on a stock straight axle with 3 leafs pulled from the front, 3 leafs pulled from the rear and extended rear shackles.

no rear notch, rear tire is a 295/50-15... but it will be notched just so i can haul heavy stuff like engines, trans, and cases of beer.

Re: would like to see some non-notched trucks.
your truck looks so koooool!! i love the old school white walls and all! but i'm a nebie and just dont see how i can get it that low without a notch. it just seems like your pumpkin would hit the bed floor, or the axle tubes would hit the frame rails. is there any way i could get a pic or two of the rears on these trucks?
