Atheys Upholstery

Has anyone ordered their "houndstooth" bench seat before? I just wanted to check on the quality. They have a great price on their bench and he sent me a pic of the seat. I just wondered how they are holding up if anyone has ordered.

Thanks!

Re: Atheys Upholstery

Thanks Tim. I try to sell the best Quality I can find and use it myself. I have used this same supplier for about 15 years, Dont think I have ever ran into any problems with quality or fit. But hopefully some of my customers I have sold to will chime in.

Re: Atheys Upholstery

i bought a set of houndstooth bucket covers a few years back from Bill. Love them! Fit perfect and easy to install. All you need is an hour or two, perhaps an extra set of hands, and a six pack and youre good to go. I suggest setting them in the house overnight though, to help with the installation.

@ pickupman

Bill, if it isn't too much trouble, can you send me a pic or two of the blue houndstooth for 1972 buckets? If you can send a picture to cjohnson6772@yahoo.com I would greatly appreciate it. By the way, will Athey's be at the Foodlion Autofair next month? I would love to get a set of these covers and save on shipping Thanks in advance.

Re: Atheys Upholstery

I purchased a houndstooth cover from Bill and I'm extremely satisfied with it. As with any seatcover though, the preparation is key to a good fit. My upholsterer was impressed with the quality he did a great job with the foam.

Does vinyl have the embossed scroll work? If not, do you know if it's available?

Willie,
Mine is the normal grain finish. I've not seen a houndstooth cover with scroll work on it. I don't know if they come that way.
