New wheels old truck

Can someone tell me if new chevy (2009)HD wheels will fit on my 61. Both are 3/4 ton. I got a chance to get some wheels while I work out the stock ones and there cheep enough for me to use. so if they fit I'll use them for now.

Re: New wheels old truck

The question is if the offset will work or is it different with newer trucks. The lug pattern should be the same but will it clear the tie rod ends

Re: New wheels old truck

No new trucks are hub centric, ours are lug centric...

Re: New wheels old truck

That's what I thought. Ran into a simular problem withandother car a few years ago. Never could figure out why the wheel felt like it wasn't balanced until I found out about the wheels were centered on the hubs and not he lugs. Just trying to keep the truck mobile while I send the stock wheels out for new rims. Really don't want it to be on blocks for 6 weeks, and I actually only need two wheels and tires since it has 16.5's on the back. The deal was 4 2500 HD alloy wheels with 50% tread tires for 275. I thought that I could use them and then sell them for almost as much when I get the wheels back. I'll keep looking and see what I can find
