u-bolts

Morning all...trying to find some longer u-bolts for my 72 short wide...i know cpp makes them, but at the moment my wifey will not let me spend anymore money on my truck, so I'm trying to use square stock and longer u-bolts to lower the rear two more inches...
ANY HELP!!!

Re: u-bolts

I went to a spring shop. Less than 5 minutes to make them and I think it was $12 a piece.
