MDA Car Show pics - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Went to the annual MDA Car Show with a buddy yesterday in Roanoke, VA. Had a great time, saw alot of really nice cars and trucks. They had an outdoor automotive flea market set up in the parking lot of the civic center. Lots of parts and good buys to be had. They even had a couple of trucks there for sale. I noticed Top Banana was set up there also, with nice selection of parts as well. I didn't have much money to spend, but it was nice to see what all was out there. I took some pics but they didn't turn out as good as I had hoped. Then my camera crapped out half way thru the all the cars, and I didn't take nearly enough pics as I had intended. Anyway I'll post what I did take. Enjoy!

The weather kept the attendance down on the parking lot for the swap meet. Lots of folks inside the civic center for the car show though.

My Dad had his 66 Malibu in the show this year . It was hiding behind the 2 Toyota showtrucks. The lifted Chevy in my avatar is his 68 K10 running 35's and a 72 clip.
That gold stepside out in the swap meet looked pretty solid for the money. I loved that red 68 from Tenn ! Flawless bodywork and paint...Maybe cause he owns a bodyshop. lol

The best way to post is to go to the gallery link at the top line of the forums (between UserCP and Site Merchandise in the blue line)
Upload your pictures from your computer to the site (for free) and then link them to this thread by copying the link for each picture. There are FAQ's on how to post pictures in the FAQ section...i'll look one up and post here in a sec....

I saw the Malibu, that thing was nice. My camera crapped out by the time I got to that room. I missed out on alot of pics in that room. I saw that gold step too, looked pretty good.

that was at the Roanoke Civic Center, i wished i could have gone but i had to be at school for an AP study session. But that 69 SWB that is like copper color, i know who restored that, well i know his son.
