Has anyone used the 88-98 truck headers on a 67-72?.....PICS?

I'm also looking for an "affordable" coated shorty header that:
1) requires no frame trimming
2) clears the stock sbc frame stands (without modifying).
3) clears the oem auto column shift linkage.

So far all I have found are the Sanderson headers that ECE sells.
What is everyone using?
I've read about 6 pages of threads, via search.
Most threads are unanswered,... except for members using the Sanderson brand.

Jeff here's a good Sanderson header thread.
They clear the frame stand just fine.

yeah I was just at their site looking at the headers and they dont look like that in their advertised picture. so they must have changed the style or is that another model of theirs. I guess the best way to find out is to call ECE. those look sweet

Sandersons website doesn't help much either.
(lots of duplicate pics with different part numbers)

It would be nice to see a set of ECE's headers,... that have been ordered recently.

They will not work on the driver side. Just sold a set of Gibson GP100's that wouldn't fit my 67. They work well on a 78 with no trimming.

The Hedman headers for 67 Camaro's work but require very light trimming on the driver side motor mount bracket, maybe a 1/4 inch or so, but not through the metal completely. As you can see in the bottom pic the #1 pipe covers the trimming perfectly and no linkage issues I just ordered mine from Summit for $333 shipped.
