My first project
This is my first time ever attempting to restore, rebuild a truck. I got this 1971 C10 about a year ago and have almost got it ready to drive at least. I have a few issues left. I have a u joint about to go out I think, and I am wondering if I should replace the 2 piece drive shaft. I also need to weld in new rocker panels and one cab corner.

Hi Travis....
 to the boards from NC.....this looks like a good little LWB truck to start with.....I'd take that drive shaft to a local drive line specialist, have them replace those u-joints, and have them recommend a new driveshaft bearing (might as well replace that too...look out...the might-as-wells will get the best of ya!!!  )...have them balance it for ya...and put that bad boy back in and keep driving....good luck and keep us updated on your progress
