i have a set of 3-5 on my truck now and should be swapping them out for air ride in the next couple weeks if u can wait?..

@LOLIFE99 you seem to be quite knowledgable about these trucks.. if i get the spindles from performance online what brake setup would i need to order to fit the spindle? i know the mcgaughy needs to be mcgaughy brakes and spindles and cpp as well i think... i looking for cheapest and best way to go disc brakes with drop spindles. i need to get new ball joints and all just dont know what year ball joints i need. also are the spindles different for 67-7- and 71-72 or is it the balljoints that are different. im a lil confused.. with all this...

Use 71-78 HD rotors and calipers.
The calipers should use a 7/16-20 banjo bolt to connect the brake hose.
The 79(?)-87 calipers are metric and require 10mm banjo bolt.

Balljoiints and outer tie rods are different.
They are grouped as follows:
67-70
71-72
73-87
Spindles, rotors, and calipers all have to match.
